Juniper berries are the fruit of juniper and one of its best known uses is the aromatization of Geneva, in fact, this drink owes its name to the term that calls the juniper in French, Genévrier, although it is also used in the production of other drinks for aromatization such as, for example, Finnish beer.
Juniper berries add a bitter, citrus and sweet hue to our cocktails and dishes. They can be used both fresh and dry and it is advisable to use them moderately because their taste is strong and with a small amount we will provide plenty of flavor.
